Transpacific container shipping rates have rebounded, with Shanghai-US West Coast rates up 12.53% to $6,229/FEU and Shanghai-US East Coast rates up 12.61% to $9,054/FEU since July 24. Strong cargo demand from Asia and persistent port congestion in China, exacerbated by typhoons, are causing equipment shortages and elevated freight rates.
