India's LNG imports increased by 15.4% year-on-year during May-July 2026, reaching 7.08 million tonnes, recovering from earlier declines. This growth is a result of India diversifying its supply sources to include the US, Oman, Nigeria, and Angola, mitigating the impact of ongoing disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz.
