SK Innovation (now SK Energy division of SK On/EcoPlant structure) is South Korea's largest refiner operating Ulsan (840 kbpd) and Incheon refineries, plus petrochemicals and EV battery manufacturing via SK On. Refining capacity dominates domestic supply.
FY2024 revenue approximated $55 billion with operating profit near $2 billion. Ulsan is one of the largest single-site refineries globally. SK On battery business has faced losses but remains strategic for SK Group.
