Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) oversees Egypt's oil and gas sector, including partnerships with BP (West Nile Delta), Eni (Zohr gas field), and Apache. Egypt became a net gas importer in 2023 despite the Zohr mega-discovery, as domestic consumption outpaced production.
